JASS Award

The Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) is an accredited learning programme designed to support pupils through the transition from primary to secondary education. Here at Mossley Hollins High School, we are using JASS as a way of improving pupils’ self-confidence, developing key interpersonal skills such as communication, teamwork and problem solving, as well as helping to build sustainable and healthy living habits.

Pupils collect evidence of their work across the four JASS sections – Me and My World, My Interests, Get Active, Stay Active & Adventure – storing it either in their JASS folder or online at e-Jass. Upon successful completion of the four sections, pupils are awarded JASS certificate and pin badge.

If you would like more information on JASS please speak to Miss Hodgkins (Duke of Edinburgh and JASS Co-Ordinator)  and Mr Miller (Duke of Edinburgh and JASS Assistant Co-Ordinator), or visit the JASS website below.
