Redgrave College (Year 7): Excel at Bushcraft!

On Friday, 24th May, 79 students from Redgrave College went off into the woods for our third annual Year 7 weekend with The Bushcraft Company to spend two nights under canvas at Cholmondeley Castle in Malpass. The students undertook a range of activities including den building on the first day which some students were brave enough to sleep in that night, whilst the rest slept in yurts for up to 12 students.

Other activities included SOS training where school staff were rescued from an air crash, trap making and gutting along with boning a salmon, which was then cooked and eaten for dinner. The atmosphere was amazing and all students were an absolute credit to both the school and their parents/carers.
